The plain version: Testely is a free set of quizzes, run honestly, that occasionally links to a product it thinks fits you. Here is who runs it and the rules of the road.

Who runs Testely

Using Testely

The quizzes are free to take, for personal, non-commercial use. They run entirely in your browser; there is no account and nothing to sign up for. Please do not try to break, scrape at scale, misrepresent, or resell the site, and do not use it in any unlawful way. The content and design are ours; you are welcome to share your result card and link to any page.

What Testely is, and is not

Testely quizzes are for reflection and enjoyment. They are not diagnosis, therapy, medical, legal, financial, or professional advice, and no result is a verdict on you or anyone else. Where a topic runs deeper than a quiz should, the card says so and points you toward real help rather than a product. Any decision you make after taking a quiz is your own.

Partner links, and how Testely earns

Testely is free and carries no advertising. Nine of our sixteen decks currently earn: Why Are You Always Tired carries a partner link to the sleep-mask maker Manta Sleep, Your Travel Personality links to the car-hire comparison site Discover Cars and the stay-booking site Booking.com, The Language To Learn to the tutor marketplace Preply and the language app Babbel, Your Creative Type to the course platforms edX and Domestika, Your Style Era to the designer marketplace Farfetch, What Your Skin Wants to the custom-skincare service Curology, How Exposed Are You Online to the VPN provider NordVPN, Green Flag, Red Flag to the book-summary service Blinkist, and Your Side-Hustle Fit to the storefront builder Shopify, the freelance marketplace Fiverr and the course platform Coursera. The other seven decks carry no partner link, and their result cards simply end with the free suggestion. Within an earning deck, a link appears only on the cards the partner honestly suits: thirty-five of the sixty-four result cards across the site carry none. Where a link does appear it is one clearly labelled partner link (also called an affiliate link), carrying a visible "partner link" label and a rel="sponsored" attribute, and we may earn a small commission if you buy through it, at no extra cost to you. The four result cards on The Language To Learn are the single exception: they show two labelled options side by side, a tutor service and a self-study app, because those are genuinely different things to buy and the choice should be yours. Three promises hold on every card:

The free option is always shown first, and the result is complete and useful whether or not you buy anything.
A partner link never changes your result, your score, or which card you draw. Nothing you can buy influences the quiz.
Links are plain outbound navigations. There is no tracking, no pixel, and no third-party script loaded into the site to make them work.

Following a partner link takes you to another company's website, which has its own terms and prices. We only recommend things we believe genuinely fit the result, but we cannot control or guarantee those third parties, their offers, or their availability.

No guarantees

Testely is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from decisions made on the basis of a quiz result. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Your privacy

Testely collects nothing about you: no account, no cookies, no analytics, and no external requests. Your answers are scored on your own device and never leave it. The full detail is in our Privacy page.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date below always shows the current version, and continuing to use Testely after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions, or anything you would like corrected: hello@plainforge.com.
