Privacy

The short version: we designed Testely so there is nothing to look at. Not "we promise not to peek", there is genuinely no data about you on our side.

What we collect

Nothing. No accounts, no forms that submit anywhere, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising scripts, no fonts or code loaded from other companies. The site's content-security policy blocks the browser from contacting any server other than the one serving these pages, which you can confirm in your browser's network tools: zero third-party requests.

What stays on your device

Two things live in your browser's local storage, and neither is a cookie or is ever transmitted:

  • Your in-progress answers, so you can pause a quiz and finish it later. These are deleted the moment you get your result.
  • Which cards you've drawn (the quiz and the result type, not your answers), so the site can show a "drawn" mark. You can clear this any time by clearing site data in your browser.

This storage exists only to make features you chose to use work. Under EU rules, strictly-necessary local storage like this needs no consent banner, which is why you don't see one.

Sharing a result

When you share a card, the link contains only the card's name (for example, "The Anchor"). Your individual answers are never included and never leave your device.

Partner links we point to

Nine of our sixteen decks currently carry a partner link on some result cards: Why Are You Always Tired links to the sleep-mask maker Manta Sleep, Your Travel Personality to the car-hire comparison site Discover Cars and the stay-booking site Booking.com, The Language To Learn to the tutor marketplace Preply and the language app Babbel, Your Creative Type to the course platforms edX and Domestika, Your Style Era to the designer marketplace Farfetch, What Your Skin Wants to the custom-skincare service Curology, How Exposed Are You Online to the VPN provider NordVPN, Green Flag, Red Flag to the book-summary service Blinkist, and Your Side-Hustle Fit to the storefront builder Shopify, the freelance marketplace Fiverr and the course platform Coursera. The other seven decks carry no partner link at all; their cards end with the free suggestion. Even inside those nine decks a card only carries a link where the partner honestly fits that particular result, so The Effortless card on Your Style Era and The Operator card on Your Side-Hustle Fit end with the free suggestion like any other. Across all sixteen decks, thirty-five of the sixty-four result cards carry no partner link. Where a link does appear it is a single one, shown below the free option, marked as a partner link and carrying a rel="sponsored" attribute. The four cards on The Language To Learn are the one exception: they set two labelled options side by side, because a human tutor and a self-study app are genuinely different things to buy. We may earn a small commission if you buy through any of them, at no extra cost to you, and it never changes your result.

Crucially, nothing from those companies is ever loaded into this site: a click is a plain outbound link, with no tracking, no pixel, and no third-party script or cookie. We transfer no data about you. The partner's own reporting tells us only anonymous totals, such as how many clicks came from a given deck, never who clicked or anything that identifies you. Following a link is your choice and takes you to another company's site, with its own privacy practices, which begin at that point and not on ours.

Server logs

Like almost every website, the hosting provider processes standard technical logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use these for analytics or profiling and receive no analytics from them. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.

Who is responsible for Testely

Testely is a plainforge project, operated by Justas Jarmalavičius, sole proprietor (individuali veikla), Jogailos g. 4B, Vilnius, LT-01116, Lithuania. VAT ID LT100020563416. Everything is scored on your own device and nothing is collected, so in practice there is no personal data for us to control, but this is who stands behind the site.

Your rights and contact

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is quite literally nothing for an access or erasure request to act on, your data stays under your own control on your own device. For any privacy question: hello@plainforge.com. You also have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority.

Effective 30 August 2026.
